Colors in my Life

A Ballerina, Costanza.

Tre ore fa io e il mio gruppo di Video Techniques siamo riusciti a finire finalmente una parte del video da preparare per l'esame.

Il video parla di una Ballerina che attraverso i suoi movimenti e a quelli di una macchina da cucire fanno prendere vita ad un insieme di immagini che creano un atmosfera intima e movimentata. 

E' difficile da spiegare ma non appena finiremo di montarlo ve lo mostrerò per sapere i vostri pareri! 

Vorrei mostrarvi come anteprima la parte della ballerina, in questo caso interpretata da Costanza, una ragazza carinissima e appassionata di danza.

Cyrus Kabiru

Cyrus Kabiru currently practices in Nairobi. 

He is a self taught painter and sculptor. His paintings are often humorous portrayals of contemporary living within Kenya. 

Kabiru adopts the role of a flâneur, the observer, explorer, and lounger using his paintings as the output for his experiences. 

His sculptural work embodies his role as a “collector” of Nairobi cast offs. 

Kabiru fashions and refashions these waste, recycled, and found materials into various forms. Currently he is focusing on a series that depicts African nature using thousands of bottle caps sewn together. 

He is perhaps best known for his C-STUNNERS, an ongoing work which where Cyrus creates and wears artistic bifocals. The work sits itself between fashion, wearable art, performance, and one of a kind commodity objects. C-STUNNERS have a certain energy and playfulness that really captures the sensibility and attitude of a youth generation in Nairobi. 

They portray the aspiration of popular culture bling; they reflect the ingenuity and resourcefulness of people; the lenses provide a new filter giving a fresh perspective onto the world that we live in transforming the wearer not only in appearance but in mind frame as well.

Eccoci qua dopo il WHITE TRADE SHOW!

 E' la vetrina internazionale della moda contemporary che si svolge annualmente a Milano in cui vengono coinvolti moltissimi brand per presentare le nuove tendenze dei prossimi mesi. 

Il WHITE è un importante meeting a cui partecipano Buyers da tutto il mondo.

Ho avuto l'opportunità di partecipare a questa fiera e mi è servita molto a capire ancora di più come funziona il mondo della Moda. 

Ogni stand rappresenta l'ambita piattaforma di marchi di nicchia, i quali sono pronti a spiegarti la propria storia, la propria filosofia, i loro prodotti....

davvero interessante!
