DAVID BAILEY

The protagonist of Swinging London, David Bailey created the style of lightness in photography. It led to the success of icons like Twiggy, Penelope Tree and Verushka

In 1966, Michelangelo Antonioni shot a film that was to become a classic – Blow Up, a portrait of Swinging London and its riotous 60s. With his triumph at Cannes the following year, David Hemmings – the star of the film, which featured him in a sexually charged photo romp with the irresistible Verushka – became the film equivalent of the star of the magazine shoot, David Bailey. But why was a photographer who was thought of as working class chosen as a model? It was because it was with Bailey, the architect of one of the great fashion revolutions of our time,
that photography took on a powerful new social role and cemented its own iconic status, halfway between dream and reality.

FranKaseR, A new Up Coming Photographer

Today I want to tell you about a new Upcoming Artist, a lover of photography and art in general.
His name is Francesco Cotta, alias FranKaseR!

Francesco is a student at the Politecnico, he is distinguished by his way of seeing things at 360 degrees and his curiosity to know always something new.
He attends exhibitions of all kinds, He always turns riding his cool bike and always arrives early for appointments!
You could say a Good Guy!
I got to know Francesco and understand how important it is for him to communicate through
"real" photography  of Camera Roll, the "One Shot" photography, the one for which you have to lose time and patience to wait until all 36 shots end up see your work developed and finished.

Maniac of perfection and rigor, Today this guy picks up a really interesting photo Book  represented mainly the city of  Milan and many other places who hit him.
Who knows maybe soon we will see him to exhibit some of his photos, which I personally love,  in some beautiful Brera Gallery!

" -FrK

"For me, photography is a passion, it's one of those things you do and make your mind empty. It has the ability to get you out of what you are and allows you to observe everything around you without judging, just looking with different eyes than those your use "to live."
Photography is a bit like reading a book, you empathize with the characters and catch glances, expressions and the simple gestures that are made everyday that everyone does on a daily basis. "-FrK

I also had the honor of being photographed by "Frank", the photo was taken in Parco Lambro in Milan.

------------------------------

"The world is beautiful because it is different, but you are aware that it is not accepted by all, therefore, the world is not so beautiful but evil.
This is the reason why I end up photographing sunsets or landscapes, because you'll never tire of watching a beautiful sunset over the sea and the only thing that your mind can do is dream.
No one will ever think to judge or find fault in the picture of a sunset, because it is something that  fascinates. " -FrK

WOULD YOU LIKE TO CELEBRATE SPRING IN HOLI FESTIVAL STYLE?

E' principalmente osservata in India e in Nepal.

What is all this colors? What's going on?
Quiet, no one has angered someone and this one for revenge filled with colored powder the face of another!
It 's just SPRING! and there someone who celebrates it so!
Holi  is a religious spring festival celebrated by Hindus as a festival of colours.
It is primarily observed in India and Nepal. It is also observed by the minority Hindus in Bangladesh and Pakistan as well in countries with large Indic diaspora populations following Hinduism, such as Suriname, Malaysia, Guyana, South Africa, Trinidad and Tobago, theUnited Kingdom, the United States, Mauritius, and Fiji. As per the Hindu calendar, Holi is celebrated on the Phalgun Purnima which comes in February or March in the Gregorian Calendar.
Every year, thousands of Hindus participate in the festival Holi. The festival has many purposes. First and foremost, it celebrates the beginning of the new season, spring. Originally, it was a festival that commemorated good harvests and the fertile land. Hindus believe it is a time of enjoying spring's abundant colors and saying farewell to winter.
It also has a religious purpose, commemorating events present in Hindu mythology. Although it is the least religious holiday, it is probably one of the most exhilarating ones in existence.
During this event, participants hold a bonfire, throw colored powder at each other, and celebrate wildly.
It looks really, the rebirth of nature and its colors.

How nice it would be able to go!
Maybe next spring we organize!
